Green Kirby is a character in The Air Ride Series.

Green Kirby is a competitive Kirby, who is better at City Trial than many other kirbies. He is rivals with White Kirby. He also has a sword because swords are cool.

"and you can still use him for Ohio David and I'll still provide lines. I only cut him as he was the best choice.

He's not completely removed unlike stuff like Tengu Man. I may still use him a little, unlike Purple, who is completely cut"
—Poyo Ride, regarding Green being cut.

On November 13, 2016, 11 days before TARS was cancelled, Poyo Ride swapped out Green Kirby for a new Green Kirby. Unlike Purple Kirby, Poyo Ride does not support this decision today. Green was possibly the most recurring of the minor 4 kirbys, and even had a facebook. He was also replaced near the very end of TARS's lifespan. His last appearance was Comic 195, 3 comics before New Green Kirby made his debut, and he made his final appearance in Comic 200. despite his replacement, meaning his replacement basically had no meaning.

This is most likely due to the fact TARS was not supposed to end at 200 comics. If TARS continued into at least July 2017, it's likely New Green Kirby would've had much more appearances, and Green Kirby would continue being absent from the comics, like in 2016. However, regarding Green being cut, it's implied that Green Kirby would likely have some minor appearances outside of the comics. Two Kirbies of the same color being active at the same time hasn't been unheard of before.

  • According to Poyo Ride, his voice was much different than the other 7 kirby's voices, which all sounded the same (minus pink).
  • In matches in Kirby Air Ride, Poyo Ride has some trouble distinguishing Green Kirby from Yellow Kirby. This trait was carried on to White Kirby. A similar thing happens with Blue and Purple.
  • Green Kirby was, for the most part, ignored by Fantendo, despite the fact he and Terra, another character involved in the controversy, shared more similarities than the TARS Terra, who did get involved in the controversy. Both are Green Kirbies with swords.
